How do I reset my computer / email password?

Reset via Computer

Simultaneously press Ctrl+Alt+Del keys and a menu will appear
Click the button "Change Password."
You will be prompted to enter your old password once and your new password twice

Reset via Online (if you know your password)

Go to https://portal.office.com
Enter your Office365 username (@bethpage.ws) and password
Click Settings (gear in top right corner)
Click "Change your password"
Enter old password, then new password twice (for staff, please refer to Password Requirements section below)

Reset via Online (if you forgot your password)

Go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
Enter your Office365 username
Follow step to use your password using your pre-set recovery methods
If you're doing this on a Chromebook, make sure to restart after changing your password (otherwise you may receive an error message about the Chromebook needing your old password to unlock the device)

Password Requirements

12-character minimum
3 of the 4 following
- Uppercase letter
- Lowercase letter
- Number
- Symbol
Cannot repeat a previous password
Cannot contain part(s) of your first name, last name or username
